Dear Fellow-Gardeners,

The 2011 growing season started badly and ended exceptionally well. The spring was cold and wet so early crops got off to a slow start. Peas did poorly and the seed har-vest was small. The summer wasn't hot so melons didn't do much but cukes were good. There was much less late blight than in 2010. Tomato yield was affected by some wild weather on the farm.
